北京科技大學(xué)的學(xué)者采用座滴法測定固液間接觸角,分別對(duì)鎂碳質(zhì)基片及基片中的兩種主要組元與LF精煉渣之間的潤濕性進(jìn)行了研究,并從潤濕性角度研究了鎂碳磚損毀機(jī)理。研究表明,在精煉溫度下,熔渣對(duì)石墨均呈不潤濕狀態(tài),溫度越低越不容易潤濕。而熔渣對(duì)MgO組元呈完全潤濕狀態(tài)。熔渣與鎂碳質(zhì)基片間的接觸角在溫度為1460~1480℃時(shí)存在明顯轉(zhuǎn)折,在轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn)溫度以下,MgO和碳的反應(yīng)受到,熔渣對(duì)基片保持不潤濕狀態(tài)。
